The Ministry of Health, Somalia wanted to deploy and maintain e-learning activities with the objective of strengthening the capacity of Female Health Workers in Somalia by improving the targeting cost-effective capacity building approaches including access to a wide range of quality care through content in a LMS.
Moodle was the recommended platform. I support the Ministry of Health as an admin in the following:
- Compress videos to small bite sizes for easier access and downloads due to issues with internet connectivity in the area.
- Build capacity with the stakeholders to promote the Moodle app for offline user.
- User Management: Managing user accounts for frontline healthworkers , enrolling users in courses.
- Course creation: Building capacity to program managers/ subject matter experts in creating and structuring courses within the LMS.
- Technical Support: Providing support to users globally, troubleshooting login issues, course access problems and other technical difficulties.
